Creamish is excited to release the 2018 Ice Cream Handbook which contains a lovely selection of ice cream recipes and other ice cream related resources. Although the Creamish website offers readers ice cream making know-how, the eBook has taken this knowledge to a new level. It reveals the secrets to churning a perfect pint from the comfort of the reader’s own home.

According to Nate Teague, "In 2015, I discovered the enjoyment that comes from making home made ice cream. Since then, I have spent a lot of time working on improving my ice cream making skills. I keep things simple and focus on the quality of the ingredients. Fresh milk and cream along with the best quality seasonal fruit - these are the building blocks to churn ice cream, gelato and sorbet that’s full of amazing taste and creaminess".

The 2018 Ice Cream Handbook is a free publication and Nate hopes it will get more families involved in making ice cream. “I originally started making frozen desserts because I was tired of the store bought flavours. However, I soon learned that the home made version avoided unnecessary stabilisers, preservatives and other unwanted ingredients. That’s a huge bonus”.

The 2018 Ice Cream Handbook includes recipes to make innovative ice cream flavours like mojito cocktail and mint choc chilli as well as the favourites like chocolate and vanilla. There are loads of other tips and hacks that will help budding chefs make the best ice cream in town.

Prince Harry opens memorial as royal tour continues

Oct 20, 2018

SYDNEY — Prince Harry paid tribute to Australian service members by opening a new wing of a war memorial on Saturday before opening the Invictus Games as he and wife Meghan continued their visit to Australia and the South Pacific. A thus-far joyous debut royal tour by the couple, buoyed by news that they are expecting their first baby, turned solemn as the Duke of Sussex opened a long-awaited extension to the Anzac Memorial in downtown Sydney's Hyde Park on Saturday morning. The former British army captain and his wife laid a wreath of Australian native flowers at the steps...

Prince Harry raises Invictus Games flag over Sydney Harbor

Oct 20, 2018

SYDNEY — Prince Harry scaled the Sydney Harbor Bridge on Friday to raise a flag marking the arrival of the Invictus Games, his brainchild and the focus of his current royal tour of Australia and the South Pacific. The sporting event, founded by Harry in 2014, starts on Saturday. It gives sick and injured military personnel and veterans the opportunity to compete in sports such as wheelchair basketball and to find inspiration to recover. The fact that the Duchess of Sussex never planned to climb the world's tallest steel arch bridge with her husband had fueled speculation that she is...

BEIJING — The director of "Air Strike," featuring Chinese actress Fan Bingbing, says the film's release has been canceled in the wake of her disappearance and conviction on tax evasion charges. The World War II thriller, also starring Bruce Willis and Adrien Brody, was to have been released Oct. 26. However, director Xiao Feng posted on his Weibo miniblog Wednesday that it was "time to let go" after eight years of work on the film. Chinese tax authorities this month ordered Fan and companies she represents to pay taxes and penalties totaling $130 million, ending speculation over the fate of...

Harry and Meghan bring rain to drought-stricken Outback town

Oct 20, 2018

DUBBO, Australia — The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were jokingly thanked for bringing England's notoriously inclement weather to a drought-stricken Outback town on Wednesday in a rain-drenched visit to Dubbo during their Australian royal tour. The former Meghan Markle brought banana bread that she baked in Sydney on Tuesday as a gift to a farming family outside Dubbo who were struggling to feed their cattle and sheep through two years of below-average rain. "When she heard she was coming to a family home, she had to bring a plate, so it was lovely," farmer Elaine Woodley said, referring to...

Prince Harry in another catch-up with war widow in Sydney

Oct 20, 2018

SYDNEY — There's clearly a special bond between Prince Harry and a 98-year-old war widow who gave him a warm hug Tuesday when they met — again — in Sydney. It's a regular catch-up. The widow, Daphne Dunne, tries to cross the prince's path whenever he comes to Australia. It's a natural fit for Harry, who has made championing the cause of veterans one of his principal causes. He first noted Dunne when he visited Sydney in 2015 and saw that she was wearing a Victoria Cross. That's a significant award that wouldn't escape Harry's eye. It is awarded to...
